These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a binding legal agreement between the bidder (“Buyer,” “Bidder,” or “You”) and SnapBid Auctions (“SnapBid,” “Company,” “We,” or “Us”). By registering to bid, placing a bid, or participating in any auction conducted by SnapBid, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all Terms herein.

1. ELIGIBILITY & BIDDER REGISTRATION

1.1 Age Requirement
Only individuals 18 years of age or older may register or participate in any auction. No exceptions.

1.2 Registration Information
All Bidders must register with a valid name, address, telephone number, email address, and a valid debit or credit card.
SnapBid reserves the right to:

Verify identification

Approve or deny any registration request

Require additional documentation

Suspend or revoke bidding privileges at any time

1.3 Legally Binding Agreement
Placing a bid constitutes a legally binding contract to purchase the item if you are the winning Bidder. Failure to honor this obligation may result in legal action, collection proceedings, or account termination.

2. PAYMENT TERMS

2.1 Payment Deadline
Full payment is required immediately upon auction close, unless otherwise stated in writing by SnapBid.

2.2 Payment Method Authorization
By registering, you authorize SnapBid to charge the card on file automatically for all invoices, including applicable taxes and fees.

2.3 Non-Payment
If payment is unsuccessful or declined, SnapBid may:

Attempt to reprocess payment

Require alternative payment

Block, suspend, or permanently remove the Bidder from all future auctions

Pursue collection efforts or legal remedies

2.4 Chargebacks Prohibited
Chargebacks, disputes, or payment reversals are strictly prohibited.
By bidding, you agree that:

All sales are final

You waive any right to reverse charges

You assume all responsibility for verifying item condition before removal

Any chargeback filed will result in immediate account termination and may be subject to legal action.

3. PICKUP, REMOVAL & STORAGE

3.1 Pickup Window
Items must be picked up during the posted pickup times for that auction. No alternate pickup dates or times are guaranteed.

3.2 Failure to Pickup
Items not collected by the deadline are deemed abandoned property. Abandoned items may, at SnapBid’s sole discretion, be:

Disposed of

Recycled

Resold

Returned to inventory

No refund, credit, or compensation will be issued for abandoned items.

3.3 Responsibility for Removal
The Buyer is solely responsible for:

Bringing adequate assistance, tools, carts, lifting equipment, and packing materials

Safely removing items from the premises

SnapBid staff may assist at their discretion, but all assistance is at the Buyer’s own risk. SnapBid assumes no liability for injuries, damages, or property loss during loading or pickup.

3.4 No On-Site Trades or Transactions
Buyers are prohibited from conducting trades, swaps, or sales with other buyers within the pickup area or inside the facility.

4. SHIPPING TERMS

4.1 Shipping Availability
Shipping is provided only on items expressly marked as “Shipping Available.” All other lots are pickup only.

4.2 Shipping Costs
The Buyer is responsible for all shipping and handling fees, including packaging, materials, and insurance (if selected).

4.3 Risk of Loss in Transit
Once an item leaves SnapBid’s possession, SnapBid is not responsible for:

Damage incurred during transit

Lost or stolen packages

Delayed deliveries

Carrier errors

Buyers must file claims directly with the shipping carrier.

5. ITEM INSPECTION & CONDITION

5.1 AS-IS, WHERE-IS Sale
All items are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, without warranty or guarantee of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to:

Functionality

Completeness

Suitability for intended use

Accuracy of descriptions

Condition of packaging

5.2 Item Descriptions
SnapBid does not guarantee the accuracy of photos, titles, or descriptions.
Items may be:

New, open-box, used, returned, damaged, incomplete, missing components, or untested

In damaged, repackaged, or missing packaging

5.3 Inspection Responsibility
Bidders are solely responsible for reviewing photos and descriptions before bidding.

5.4 Claims & Discrepancies
Any issue must be reported before leaving the premises.
Once the Buyer exits the pickup location, the item is deemed accepted, and no refunds, returns, or adjustments will be considered.

6. BIDDING RULES & INTERNET LIMITATIONS

6.1 Irrevocable Bids
Once submitted, bids cannot be retracted, canceled, or modified for any reason.

6.2 Auction Modifications
SnapBid reserves the right to:

Add, remove, adjust, or reconfigure lots

Extend, shorten, suspend, or cancel auctions

Correct listing errors

Void or reopen lots impacted by system errors

6.3 Technology & Internet Interruptions
SnapBid is not responsible for:

Internet outages

Bidder connectivity issues

HiBid platform failures

Server interruptions

Software or hardware malfunctions

In such cases, SnapBid may take corrective action, including re-running or voiding affected lots.

7. ABANDONED PROPERTY

7.1 Automatic Forfeiture
Any item not picked up within the designated timeframe is automatically forfeited without refund.

7.2 Repeated Violations
Multiple missed pickups may result in suspension or permanent removal from future auctions.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SnapBid shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to:

Pickup, loading, or transportation injuries

Item condition, defects, or missing components

Mislabeling, listing errors, or photo inaccuracies

Failure to execute bids

Loss or damage during removal or shipping

Acts of God, weather, or events outside SnapBid’s control

The Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold SnapBid harmless from any claims, losses, or damages resulting from their participation in the auction and pickup process.

9. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

9.1 Jurisdiction
All disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

9.2 Venue
Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Texas.

9.3 No Class Actions
The Buyer agrees to waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or classwide arbitration against SnapBid.

10. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By registering for and participating in any SnapBid auction, the Buyer acknowledges and agrees to all Terms listed herein, including:

Full and timely payment

No chargebacks

No returns, refunds, or exchanges

Acceptance of all disclaimers and limitations of liability

Your continued participation constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms.
